A sign of things to come 28 November 2017

Back in August we presented our first round of brand concepts to Spitalfields City Farm. Each designer in the agency created a route which totalled 8 creative directions for the guys at the farm to choose from. We had a great session with the team and they chose a direction there and then which meant that we could get cracking.

Over the past months we’ve been working away on all the brand collateral which is looking fantastic and there’s one particular aspect of the project which has got Living’s design team particularly excited, hand making the farm’s signage. Our idea was to repurpose old palettes which along with hand cut stencils have made for excellent rustic little signs. Each sign has its own unique slightly rough edge and the designers have enjoyed stepping away from their macs, picking up saws, hammers and crowbars and getting pretty disruptive in the studio.

A few splinters and sore thumbs later we’ve made great progress and the signs are looking stunning. Only two more to go and we’ll be set for the big launch next year.

Creating Difference

At Living we aim to create difference for our people, and the communities we work within. We have an open and collaborative culture that gives our people room to thrive. We encourage passionate freethinking, ideas that challenge the conventional, and celebrate individualism and diversity.
