Helping investors to find the missing golden element in their portfolio 02 May 2018

We recently launched our latest multi-channel campaign for Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI) in Hong Kong, aimed at promoting the benefits of investing in OMGI's Gold and Silver Fund.

Our challenge was to raise the awareness of this under-invested asset class in the region and encourage potential investors to add bullion to their portfolios to create greater balance, help reduce long-term risk and generate consistent returns. 

As with previous campaigns, our creative solution uses OMGI's flexible 'Geomag' brand imagery and shows the target audience, in a simple and clear way, what 'golden element' may be missing from their investment portfolio.

This multi-channel campaign has been rolled out across Hong Kong to a wide range of media, from trams and out-of-home advertising, through to magazine wraps and a dedicated microsite, where both professional and retail investors can find out more about this asset class and OMGI's fund.

To date, the campaign has created a significant amount of interest in OMGI's Gold and Silver Fund, increasing traffic to the firm's microsite and providing OMGI's sales teams with numerous new opportunities.
