Packing an inspirational punch

We are delighted to announce that we are sponsoring boxer Cherrelle “Hummingbird” Brown in her quest for the WBC International Belt at York Hall in London on Saturday 20th July 2019.
Cherrelle Brown is an undefeated professional boxer and boxing coach based in London. Prior to turning professional in 2018, she was an amateur boxer for six years, during which she had 36 bouts. Throughout her 7 year career, she has been teaching boxing in both amateur and recreational classes. Cherrelle lives for the boxing and her life story is inspirational.
Six years ago, Cherrelle never intended to live the boxing lifestyle. She knew very little about boxing beyond the names of famous fighters, such as Muhammed Ali, Mike Tyson and Holyfield. Then, when Cherrelle first stepped into Islington Boxing Club, she began to understand what it meant to have self-worth. For the first time, Cherrelle felt focused and had goals to strive towards.
From then on, she completely submerged herself into the sport and began training twice a day, loving every moment of her new life and identity. The hard work and discipline paid off. In her first season she remained undefeated and won her first Novice National title. Cherrelle continued to dedicate herself to the sport, achieving three Elite National titles. Boxing for England, she secured several golds, silver and bronze medals.
