Strategies+ for progressive legal marketers

Strategies+ for progressive legal marketers

27 May 2020

This week sees the publication of a viewpoint from Living’s Co-founder and Executive Creative Director, Duncan Shaw, for the Legal Marketing Association’s Strategies+ blog.

‘Surface your law firm’s intellectual capital’ focuses on the current gap created by the absence of face-to-face interaction with clients, prospects and potential new hires. Duncan’s article deals with how a firm’s brand and online presence should do more to bridge this gap.

This viewpoint is drawn from the objective findings of our latest Living Ratings research, where we reviewed the brand and digital intelligence of the world’s leading law firms. We rated over 100 metrics with a discerning eye on how each law firm handled the human aspects of its website and social channels, from its people landing pages and lawyer biographies through to its diversity, culture and careers content. We analysed all this through the eyes of an external target audience.

Our takeaway? Law firms need to add more personality to their brands and digital expressions. Everything they can tell us about their people reveals everything you need to know about their culture. And this creates an opportunity for progressive firms to surge ahead of their competitors in the hearts and minds of clients and employees alike.
