The challenge

Top 20 UK law firm DWF is an ambitious and fast-growing business with a desire not to be seen as one of the herd. It came to us for a distinctive brand and communication strategy that reflected its brand promise to ‘Go Further’ for its clients.

The solution

Working in close collaboration with senior partners and stakeholders, we developed a complete messaging strategy, a differentiating brand proposition and new tone of voice to complement a striking visual rebrand. A circular logo forms a point, signifying direction, navigation and vision while stunning iconography provides strong visual cues for each of the firm’s key sectors.

We applied the refreshed visual language across a suite of the firm’s touchpoints, from corporate communications, digital comms and apps, to brochures and advertising.

The result

The refreshed brand aligns perfectly with DWF’s ambitions by providing a consistent brand platform and messaging framework, as well as the business tools to underpin its future growth plans. In fact, in the time we’ve been DWF, its industry ranking has risen from 70 to 19, to accompany a whole raft of awards – a true standout brand in the British legal sector.
