Briefed to revolutionise their visual brand and shape a customer-centric website, our key challenge was to help position Murata as a global leader in its field.
We began with an in-depth discovery phase, which informed the creation of fresh visual identity spanning every touchpoint in Murata’s corporate and product communications.
The new Murata brand identity platform then became the visual foundation of a clean, modern and engaging website, with UX, architecture, design and development completed by the in-house digital team at Living.
Since the launch of the new brand in 2015, Murata's revenues increased year-on-year, with the firm achieving sales of 1,630 billion yen in 2020.
The new brand and website also went on to win Best Rebrand from the TMT Sector and Best Rebrand of a Digital Property at the Transform Asia-Pacific Awards, plus picked up 3 prestigious Digital Impact Awards.
