Living Ratings. A quiet revolution for law firms is here

A quiet revolution is happening among the world’s leading law firms. For the first time in five years, our data-driven Ratings analysis has recorded an upward trend in brand and digital intelligence across the sector, with an unprecedented 17 firms featuring in our highest ranking ‘determined’ category.

The importance of brand differentiation

With law firms continuing to face immense pressure to stand out from their competitors, brand plays a critical role in achieving differentiation. From having an authentic brand purpose, to curating relevant content and showcasing ‘how you do business’, are three basic brand elements that are needed to underpin a firm’s business strategy.

Commenting on the report findings, Duncan Shaw, Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer at Living, said: “It’s so encouraging to see some truly client-centric user experiences in our law firm Ratings. The sector is finally starting to understand the value of brand and that a positive digital experience is a reflection of a firm's business strategy, vision and culture."

As well as the much-anticipated scores and rankings table, our latest report – the 36th edition – is packed with insights on achieving greater brand and digital intelligence, including case studies, thought leadership articles and key trends.

This year, Hogan Lovells deservedly take the top spot for the first time, following closely by Akin in 2nd position and Eversheds Sutherland in 3rd.
