The launch of Living Ratings of Asset Managers 2024

Today saw the launch of Living Ratings of Asset Managers 2024 – the definitive research report that defines and analyses the brand and digital intelligence of the world’s leading firms.

Presented by Living’s CEO, Kate Shaw, and in conjunction with the Financial Communications Society (FCS), this year’s launch included a deep dive into the underlying data and the key themes and trends that have surfaced in 2024, followed by a reveal of this year’s Top 20 and a panel discussion featuring brand and marketing experts from AllianceBernstein, Russell Investments, and State Street Global Advisors.

A downward trajectory?

Researched through the eyes of an intermediary this year’s analysis reveals a drop in the average scores for 2024 across the Top 20 and 100. Is this a one off after several years of improvement or the start of a downward trend?

Building brand. Building reputation

Our research shows that AI, technology, and responsible business practices are still trending, but the conversation is increasingly about who is – and isn’t – building a brand with strong human-centric foundations.

It’s not just about owning a topic anymore; it's about solidifying your brand's core. Performance, choice, human-led research, technology, and a clear voice are what will set your brand apart. The key question is: What will make an intermediary and investor choose your asset manager?
